Akhilesh Yadav, the youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh creating History

Born on the July 1st in 1973 Akhilesh Yadav is the contemporary Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is the youngest person to hold this position in Indian Government. His primer to the political front took place when he became the member of Lok Sabha in Kannauj in the year 2000. He was born in the village of Saifai which is situated on the Etawah District of the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. His father was also the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh namely Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav. His entire inspiration for becoming the minister of the state came from the work and dedication of his father. His schooling was completed from Dholpur Military School which is situated in Rajasthan.

He has a passion for the games of Hockey and Football and is a very stubborn supporter of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur during his college days. His friends called him Tipu for many reasons. He passed college with a degree of Civil Environmental Engineering in both Bachelors and Masters Level from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in Mysore. He was even a very devoted music fan during his college days. Other than music his hobbies and interests were trekking, hill-climbing and even driving. After completing his masters he even went to the University of Sydney to finish up his further studies in the same field of engineering. He got married to Dimple Yadav in 1999 and is blessed with two daughters and a son named Aditi, Tina and Arjun respectively.

The entire timeline of his career is pretty interesting. He formerly secured a place in the 13th Lok Sabha from Kannauj and was also able to retain his seat in 2004 and 2009 general elections. Gaining a membership in the Committee of Food, Civil Supplies and Public Distribution has indeed elevated his career to a certain level. He also became the member of the Committee on Ethics during 2001. His entire career reached the zenith on the base of the memberships that he gained due to this hard work and dedication. During 2004 he held the membership in the Committee on Science and Technologies and even on Environment and Forests.

He was also re- elected as the member of the 14th Lok Sabha in 2004. During this time he held the memberships of Committees on Urban Development, provision for Computers for various departments, science and technology and even on Environment and Forest. Then again in the next term he was re-elected as the member of the 15th Loksabha. His memberships did not end as he also secured the membership of the Committee of JPC on the 2G Spectrum Scam. Finally he decided to lead a party and that is when he was appointed as the leader of the Samajwadi Legislative Party in Uttar Pradesh on 10th March 2012 and at the end became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
