After the announcement of Railway Minister of India, Mr. Piyush Goyal regarding the increment of the 2.50 lac vacancies in Indian Railways last year, Railway Recruitment Board has recently announced 1.3 lac vacancies in different departments of Indian Railways. In order to expand the workforce in Railways, the board has Yed a number of vacancies. By 2021, the government has an agenda to provide 4 lakhs recruitment in Indian Railways. This news has created a big hope among the job aspirants in the government sector. The 10 percent quota of EBC will result in 23, 000 jobs placement by 2021, whereas this privilege will not affect previously reserved categories.
Railway Recruitment Board has released a notification announcing 1.3 lacs vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Category), Para Medical Staff, Ministerial and Isolated Categories with level 1 posts. Aspirants can register online for RRB NTPC, Para Medical Staff and other exam 2019 from 1 st March 2019.
According to Railway Recruitment Board NTPC Recruitment notice for RRB/CEN01/2019 Exam Group: NTPC, RRB/CEN02/2019 Exam Group: Para Medical Staff and RRB/CEN03/2019 cover approximately 30,000 vacancies and RRC-01/2019 Exam Group: Level-1 Posts covers approximately 1,00,000 vacancies. The NTPC includes posts like Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Train Clerks, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master and many more. The Para Medical Staff includes posts like Staff nurse, Malaria and Health Inspector, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent, Pharmacist, ECG Technician and few more. RRB Ministerial and Isolated Group include posts like Chief Law Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Translator (Hindi) and many more.
Application fees for the reserved category which include SC/ST, Ex-serviceman, PwBDs, Females, Minorities, Transgender, EBC (Economically Backward Class) will be Rs. 250/- shall be refunded after deducting the bank charges to the candidate appearing in the 1 st round of CBT. Rest of the non-reserved categories, the application fee is Rs. 500/-, which will be refunded after deducting the bank charges to the candidate appearing in the 1 st round of CBT.
According to the previous year recruitment process, RRB Recruitment will follow three stages:
CBT: The first stage of this process is the Computer Based Test, which is an online exam conducted at different centers around the country. Elaborated information will be announced officially.
Interview: The next stage of this process is the Interview. Candidates who have cleared the first stage of CBT with the desired score are invited for the Interview process.
Verification of Document: The third stage in this process in Document verification for the candidate who has cleared the Interview round. The selected candidate has to bring all original documents related to age, educational qualification and reservation category (if applicable).
The candidates will have to wait until the official notification arrives. This will provide detailed information on eligibility criteria like age, education qualification for different positions.
