Sunny Leone Tops In Bihar JE Exam-You have read it right!
According to the list Yed online by the Bihar PHED (Public Health Engineering Department), a candidate named Sunny Leone has topped. It created a flutter among people. Many were left in confusion as they kept wondering about Sunny Leone, the Bollywood actress submitting an application for the Junior Engineer post in Bihar.
It is now clear that it is one of the bizarre pranks on the online system.
Bihar PHED invited applications from candidates for the post of Civil Junior Engineer between 15th and 31st January 2019. Around 17000 candidates submitted their application online with their marks. Sunny Leone managed to grab eyeballs with her 98.5 points in diploma in Engineering.
The officials claimed list was purely system generated based on the preliminary assessment of the candidates. The online system only identifies with the details entered in the application by the candidates. With no manual checking to ensure the authenticity of the name and associated marks, the list has several errors. So, Sunny Leone emerged as the topper with 73.5 points in academics and 20 points for her work experience.
The list has another glaring error. The third topper in the list has the name bvcxzbnnb with a high score of 92.89 points. But, the PHED department has distanced itself from the controversy by blaming the applicants who filled the online application. Vinod Narayan Jha, PHED minister has further claimed that the authenticity of the applicants is only examined when they submit the certificates before attending the interview.
The issue has sparked controversy as well as confusion. But, Sunny Leone herself finds it funny with her tweeting about feeling glad for the other Sunny Leone. It appears as somebody filled the application for the sheer fun of it. With PHED refraining from accepting its error, the candidates are left with the only choice to raise an objection to the list Yed. Candidates can raise objection till 24th February by logging into the official PHED website (phed.bih.nic.in).
